Rising 925 feet in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, Devon tower has become the landmark for a city undergoing an unprecedented level of urban renewal and growth.  The world headquarters of Devon Energy serves as a gateway between the downtown area and the newly renovated Myriad gardens.  As such, there are abundant public areas and amenities within the building.

I became involved with the project at the end of the schematic design phase and was responsible for the development of the circular corporate lobby and the elevator lobbies and cabs.  In the main corporate lobby, encircling the radial elevator lobbies, I developed the design for a backlit mahogany wood screen with custom LED lighting.  The screen revolves a full 360 degrees with portal openings to the radial elevator lobbies.  At the center of the circle, I designed the curved mahogany veneered panels of the second inner cylinder which serves as a transition between elevator banks.

The lobbies themselves are clad in white Caldia marble, and lit with a custom glowing fabric ceiling.  The design for the elevator cabs includes a backlit reeded glass rear wall and custom call light integrated into the door jamb.
