24 Allen Plaza represents a parcel of land immediately south of Midtown in Atlanta.  It was an integral part of a proposed masterplan development which linked the vibrant downtown and midtown areas of the city.  This building program consists of a 15-story office tower, ample parking for the rest of the larger development, a double-height corporate lobby, a retail presence on three sides and an urban grocery store.  The site slopes considerably from East to West, and in order to achieve the requirements of an active retail space, the grocery store was located one level below grade on the east end of the site.

I was involved with this project from the beginning, working on the massing of the building, the design of the exterior curtain wall, the development of the drawings for review by the city, and the coordination with the potential grocery store tenant.  In developing marketing materials for the developer to use, I worked on the design of the corporate lobby, the reception desk, and the elevator cab interiors.
